How it works

In insertion sort, the first value starts as the sorted section. The next value is selected and compared with the value immediately to its left. If the selected value is smaller, it moves left by swapping with that value. This continues until the selected value is in the correct position.

Every incorrect answer adds a 5 second penalty to your time. The activity ends automatically when the full list is sorted.
